Digital Storytelling!

My Digital Storytelling Project was done over the story of my family. I really enjoyed making this video and I believe I will be able to use it in the near future to present myself if necessary. Even though it's a very elaborate and time consuming project I believe every single one of us learned how to make a creative project that we could possibly use in our future college projects or even in our classroom. One of three ways I would use this project would be to have my students make a video about themselves to present to the class in the beginning of the school year. This would be something different for the students to try. A second project that can be done is presenting a specific topic in class using I-movie or Windows Movie maker instead of the typically powerpoint presentations we tend to have in class. A third usage we can make out of this creative project would be to make an informative video to attract people to an event or show that the school might be having.

  My experience with both glogster and word cloud was pretty awesome. I believe glogster can actually be used with children working on a project or activity in class. With word cloud you wouldn't be able to use it much in the classroom. If I use word cloud it would be to make t-shirts for my students. Both of the websites would be appropriate for the ages of 12 and up.

- I had already used Picnik and Photobucket in the past to edit my pictures and these are several of my little brother Eben. I took these for Christmas. :)

- I made the collage on Pizap. And the collage consists of pictures of my little brother Eben. All the pictures have something to do with him. The cupcakes were made on the day he was born. The flowers were given to my mom. The picture where he is holding his monkey is a newborn picture. The one in the stripped pants is Christmas Day and the other one is a week after he was born. All taken by me. :)
